Our Leadership

Since 1986, Krista Wilmink has been providing insight-driven design solutions to a roster of nationally recognized companies. Today, her firm IDA Branding brings together marketing strategy and award-winning design to creatively solve business challenges and effectively transform organizations.

Krista worked for several leading Cincinnati agencies before starting her first company Insignia Design Associates in 1995 with her brother-in-law Jim. The company quickly gained a reputation for providing insight-driven solutions to a roster of nationally recognized companies, including Kroger, Ethicon, Messer, Western-Southern and Fischer Homes. During her 14 years with Insignia, the business grew to employ more than 20 associates with clients ranging from the leading Cincinnati advertising agency Northlich to the nationally acclaimed Cincinnati Ballet.

With the economic downturn of 2008, Krista saw the need for an experienced design and marketing resource that didn't come with the inflated price tag of large agencies. She especially saw the frustration of small and non-profit companies, who despite their limited financial resources, desired high-quality marketing materials so they could compete more effectively with larger companies. In 2009, Krista formed IDa Branding, Inc., a branding firm created to help small to mid-size companies launch, grow and strengthen their brands.

Krista's leadership embraces a values-based collaborative culture, which fosters creativity and purposeful design. As a thought leader in the design community, Krista shares her business acumen and philanthropic ideals with various nonprofit boards and committees.
